Druid Hills 2023 Bid Sheet Sanitation Contract
In July 2023 The City of Druid Hills moved to a new contract with Rumpke. Service will now be on Thursdays.
The sanitation needs for The City of Druid Hills are met through contract with Rumpke. This includes trash, recycling, and yard waste collection.
Collection shall be weekly for garbage, and alternating every other week for recycling and yard waste.
If there is holiday prior to our pick up date, all collections will be made one day later that week.
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
Please contact Rumpke directly about pickup of large and/or bulky items.
The contractor will not collect the following items:

Yard waste should be placed in paper bags are containers that are marked as yard waste.
Should a resident have questions or encounter an issue with their service, they can contact the Mayor or your Commissioners.
Street Lights
Should you observe a Street Light in our City that needs replacing you can contact one of the Commissioners.
Snow Plowing
Snow plowing service for City streets is contracted by the City in the event of snow.
Recent News
Yard Waste / Sanitation Service
Trash is picked up on Thursday mornings each week. Recycling and Yard Waste are on alternating weeks. Rumpke is the sanitation contractor for the City of Druid Hills.
Commissioner Meeting
The Commissioner meeting will be held on Monday July 8, 2024 in the Family Life Center at Broadway Baptist Church. The public is always welcome to attend.
